Long Island Ducks News Release
(Central Islip, N.Y., Sept. 4, 2009) - Due to overwhelming demand, Long Island Ducks team officials today announced that Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 17 will be designated as additional "Unused Ticket Days." Fans holding unused tickets from this season will have the opportunity to exchange those tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value at the Citibank Park Box Office. The only cost will be one dollar to account for the Suffolk County surcharge on all tickets. The announcement comes on the heels of the team's successful September 1, 2 and 3 unused ticket days where hundreds of fans took advantage of the opportunity to see Ducks baseball with their unused tickets from earlier this season.
The exchanging of tickets must be done at the Citibank Park Box Office, and cannot be done over the phone or via the Internet. For more information, please contact the ticket office at (631) 940-3825, ext. 115 or 116. Since there are a finite number of tickets, the offer is subject to availability.
The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Citibank Park. They have filled their ballpark to over 100 percent capacity for nine consecutive seasons and are one of the most successful minor league franchises in the country. For further information, or for information on becoming a 2010 season ticket holder, please call (631) 940-3825.
