
United Declines Options on Daley, Pedro Mendes, and Reed

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Thursday, December 4th, 2014) -- Minnesota United announced today that it has declined options on three players - Omar Daley, Pedro Mendes, and Michael Reed. Rafael Burgos has returned to his home club SV Ried after spending the 2014 Fall Season on loan in Minnesota.
Burgos came to United on loan from Austrian side SV Ried for a season loan. Burgos not only made appearances for United, but also for the El Salvador National Team during his tenure in Minnesota.
Mendes joined Minnesota during the Fall Season from Indy Eleven. He made just one appearance for the club, entering in the final minutes of United's 2-0 loss to Indy.
Daley signed with United during the 2013 season after playing for Motherwell of the Scottish Premiership. The Jamaican international brought speed to the wing for United's attack and made 18 appearances for United.
Reed joined Minnesota in 2012. Reed has spent his entire professional career with Minnesota. He has scored one goal for Minnesota during his three years with the club. Reed saw the field 32 times and started in 23 of those matches.
