
Union to host their first ever playoff game against the Dynamo on Sunday

Chester, Pa. (October 24, 2011) - Philadelphia Union (11-8-15, 48 points) begin their first ever Major League Soccer playoff journey when they host Eastern Conference opponent the Houston Dynamo (12-9-13, 49 points) on Sunday, October 30. The match is tentatively set to kickoff at 4:00 p.m. EST (subject to change) and will be broadcast live on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN3.
The Union finished the 2011 MLS Regular Season seeded third in the Eastern Conference, thus securing a first round bye and a spot in the Eastern Conference Semifinal round against the second seeded Houston Dynamo. The Union are 2-0-2 all-time against Houston, having tied both games at PPL Park and winning both games at the Dynamo's Robertson Stadium.
