Youngstown SteelHounds News Release
YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO - The Youngstown SteelHounds will be playing their final game of their inaugural season on Saturday, March 25th when they take on the Fort Worth Brahmas at the Chevrolet Centre. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Joining the growing list of activities and debutants for the evening is television celebrity Dave Coulier who is most recognized for his role as "Joey" on the sitcom Full House which ran eight seasons airing more than 190 episodes.
Born in Detroit, Coulier is an avid hockey fan and participates in celebrity all-star hockey games all across North America.
Coulier will be appearing later on Saturday night at the Funny Farm Comedy Club in Boardman and in the Metroplex so his presence at the SteelHounds game will be limited to all the pre-game festivities for Mayor Jay Williams Night and "Papa John's/SteelHounds Fan Appreciation Night". The first 2,000 fans at the Chevy Centre will receive a commemorative "New Beginning" Mayor Williams puck.
Other credits for Coulier include being a cast member on the Surreal Life (season three), a contestant on Skating with the Celebrities (partnered with former Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan) and doing numerous voice-overs for animated television shows and features including Felix the Cat, Muppet Babies and the Real Ghostbusters.
