The Spokane Chiefs defeated the Swift Current Broncos in front of 4,706 fans by a score of 3-2 in another exciting game at the Spokane Arena. The game was a closely contested affair with the two teams spending almost 36-minutes of the game with the score tied, and never being separated by more than a goal.

The first period ended with the score still tied at zero despite Spokane forcing Broncos goaltender Jon Groenheyde to make 18 saves. Mac Engel saw six shots in the first.

Brenden Kichton started the scoring for the Chiefs at the 4:11 mark of the second with Blake Gal and Dominik Uher picking up assists.

The Broncos answered back later that period at 6:52 when Reece Scarlett scored off a rebound created by an Adam Lowry shot. The Chiefs regained the lead thanks to a set up by Kichton, with Dominik Uher redirecting the pass in the slot over the shoulder of Groenheyde at 16:46 of the second.

Swift Current tied the game in the third period at 10:32 on a power play goal scored by Adam Lowry, set up by Scarlett. Lowry and Scarlett accounted for both of the goals and the primary assists scored by the Broncos in the game.

Anthony Bardaro provided the game winner for the Chiefs at 12:13 of the third, snapping a shot from the bottom of the right face off circle past Groenheyde. Collin Valcourt and Uher were credited with assists on the play.

The Chiefs were 0-3 on the power play for the game, with the Broncos going 1-2. Spokane outshot the Broncos 35-20.
