INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, July 18, 2014) - Indy Eleven Professional Soccer is proud to welcome Indiana's own DaMarcus Beasley back to the Hoosier State this Saturday, July 19, when the U.S. Men's National Team veteran will help get Indy Eleven's NASL Fall Season home slate started by participating in the ceremonial "First Kick" just prior to the 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff against the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

"Since 2001, watching the United States Men's National Team compete has been made that much more exciting for Hoosiers because DaMarcus Beasley was representing his country and his state with such great skill and pride," said Indy Eleven President/General Manager Peter Wilt, who was responsible for bringing Beasley to Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire to begin his professional career in 1999. "On behalf of the organization, I'd like to thank DaMarcus for making it to Carroll Stadium on Saturday to be recognized by Indy Eleven's passionate fans and witness the growth of the sport in his home state in person."

Prior to Beasley's First Kick appearance in front of a sold out crowd of more than 10,000 of his fellow soccer-loving Hoosiers, the only player in United States' history to see the field at four FIFA World Cups will be made available to members of the media for a group interview session at 7:00 p.m. ET. The availability will take place in the Club Hospitality Tent, now located at the southwest corner of the field level at Carroll Stadium.

Saturday's contest will mark the sixth sellout at Carroll Stadium in as many contests to begin Indy Eleven's tenure in North American Soccer League play. Tickets remain available for the squad's final eight contests from August through October and can be purchased online at IndyEleven.com or by phone at 317-685-1100 during regular business hours.
