The Somerset Patriots blew out the Binghamton Rumble Ponies by a score of 14-0 on Thursday night in the third of a six-game Double-A Subway Series at TD Bank Ballpark.

All nine Patriots had a hit in the ballgame, with eight players registering an RBI and seven scoring a run.

Somerset's 17 hits on Thursday marked a season high, while their 14 runs were the most scored since 5/16 vs. Reading.

Thursday marked Somerset's tenth shutout of the season.

RHP Richard Fitts (6 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 7 K) earned his fourth consecutive win and team-leading ninth of the season in his fourth scoreless outing of the year.

The performance marked Fitts' 13th quality start of the season, leading all pitchers in Minor League Baseball.

Fitts ends the night with an Eastern League-leading 130 strikeouts, which tie him for the 6th-most in Minor League Baseball. His 1.09 WHIP is also the lowest in the league, while his 3.38 ERA ranks 2nd and his .224 AVG ranks 4th.

Over his last 14 starts dating back to May 24 @ Erie, Fitts is 8-2 with an Eastern League leading 2.35 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and in 90 K in 80.1 IP.

CF Jasson Dominguez (2-for-5, 2 R, SB) registered his team-leading 28th multi-hit game of the season and fifth straight multi-hit game.

The multi-hit performance was also Dominguez's eighth in the last 13 games. Dominguez extended his season-long hit streak to nine games and on-base streak to 19 games.

The Yankees top prospect is now hitting .436 with 6 RBI and 4 2B in nine August games. Over his last 26 games dating back to 7/7, Dominguez is slashing .362/.426/.517 with 3 HR, 21 RBI and 13 SB.

C Ben Rice (4-for-5, HR, 3 RBI, 4 R) matched a season and career-high with four hits, falling a triple short of the cycle.

In 17 Double-A games this season, he is slashing .319/.397/.652 with 6 HR. Rice has multiple hits in three of his last four games seven multi-hit games in 17 games with Somerset.

CF Elijah Dunham (3-for-5, HR, 3 RBI, SB, 2 R) launched a three-run blast in the 5th inning for his 6th homer with Somerset and 12th overall this season. Six of Dunham's last eight hits have gone for extra bases.
