Regina, Sask. -ÃÂ The Regina Pats (2-7-0) travel to theÃÂ Innovation Credit Union i-plex in Swift Current to take on the Broncos (2-5-2) at 7:00 p.m., on Friday.
The Pats enter tonight's contest riding a seven game losing-streak after they dropped both games of their home-and-home against the Saskatoon Blades last weekend. The Pats last contest was a 4-1 loss in Saskatoon on Sunday. The Blades opened things up in the second period with two unanswered goals, breaking a 1-1 tie. Cole Dubinsky scored the lone goal for the Pats, extending his goal-streak to three games and point-streak to eight games. Final shots were 28-26 for the Pats, while Regina went 8-for-9 on the penalty kill and 0-for-3 on the power play.

The Broncos come into play also riding a seven game losing-streak, going 0-5-2 since their 2-0 start to the season. Swift Current is coming off a 5-2 loss against the Calgary Hitmen on Friday, October 22nd. They got goals from Caleb Wyrostok and Josh Filmon in the third after they trailed 5-0 after two. The Broncos were outshot 38-20 in that hockey game and have now been outshot in eight of their nine games this season and areÃÂ 0-2-2 since Head Coach and GM Dean Brockman stepped down on October 14.
The Broncos also had fourÃÂ players named to the NHL Central Scouting list, with Josh Davies being named a "B" level prospect and Reid Dyck, Owen Pickering and Mathew Ward listed as "C" level prospects.
