
Two Knights Named to IL All-Star Team

Fort Mill, SC -- Two Charlotte Knights players were named to the International League All-Star team that was announced today. Bryant Nelson was elected as the starting second baseman and right-handed pitcher Felix Diaz received the most votes of any pitcher elected. Nelson is currently hitting .313 with 12 home runs and 43 RBI in 73 games with the Knights. He ranks second in the league in hits (91) and is tied for second in extra-base hits (39). Diaz is 8-2 with a 3.51 ERA in 13 games (12 starts). He ranks among the IL leaders with eight wins (T-2nd), 61 strikeouts (8th) and ERA (9th). Diaz has made two starts with the White Sox this year went 0-1 with a 11.42 ERA.
