
Two 'Caps Named to MLS Team of the Week

VANCOUVER, BC - Kekuta Manneh and Blas Pérez have been named to the MLS Team of the Week after leading Vancouver Whitecaps FC to wins over Chicago Fire and Toronto FC.
On Wednesday, Pérez scored both of Vancouver's goals, including an 89th-minute bicycle kick, in a 2-1 win over Chicago at BC Place. And on Saturday, Manneh led the way for Whitecaps FC with two goals and an assist in a thrilling 4-3 victory over Toronto at BMO Field.

Manneh was actually involved in five of Vancouver's six goals this week.
Captain Pedro Morales also made the bench after impressing in his new role, recording a goal and two assists between the two matches. The 'Caps have now won three straight matches ahead of this weekend's trip to Portland (Sunday at 1:30 p.m. PT - TSN1 and TSN 1040).
