Twins Weekend Breakfast Benefits Beloit Meals on Wheels

BELOIT, Wi- The Beloit Snappers teamed up with Beloit Meals on Wheels for the 2012 Twins Weekend Breakfast featuring former Minnesota Twin, Al Newman. Guests enjoyed breakfast prepared by the Rock Bar and Grill, while Snappers players mingled with the fans. Fans were also given the opportunity to bid on baskets donated by community businesses in a silent auction. Walgreens participated in the event providing attendees with a complimentary photo.
All proceeds from the Twins Weekend Breakfast benefitted Beloit Meals on Wheels, and a $636 check was presented to Board of Directors president, Larry Kane. The breakfast went in conjunction with the Snappers three-game homestand against the Great Lakes Loons.
The Beloit Snappers finish up the regular season on Monday, September 3 at 2:00 PM at Pohlman Field. On Tuesday, September 4 the Snappers start their 2012 playoff run, the first time since 2007 that the team will participate in post season play. It is an exciting time here at Pohlman Field, and we hope to see you out at a game!
