OILERS TRAVEL TO FACE TOP DIVISION FOES, FORT WAYNE AND TOLEDO

Tulsa begins final 10 games of the season with three-game weekend on the road against the top two teams in the Central Division standings.

OILERS RECORD: 26-30-6, 58 points (5th - Central Division, 11th - Western Conference)

LAST WEEK: 0-1-0

SUNDAY, MAR. 12 - MISSOURI 7, TULSA 2 (Silverstein Eye Centers Arena - Independence, MO)

The Oilers jumped out to a fast start, when Garrett Ladd and Adam Pleskach each scored in the first 5:15 of the game to give Tulsa a 2-0 lead. It was all downhill from there, as Missouri piled on seven unanswered goals. Dan Correale and Dane Fox scored in the first period for the Mavericks to tie the game after one. Correale added another goal in the middle frame before Justin Selman made it 4-2 for Missouri after 40 minutes. Fox struck again early in the third, followed quickly by markers from both Stephen Silas and Shawn Pauly to chase Oilers goaltender P.J. Musico for backup Jonah Imoo. The Mavericks cruised to victory in the final meeting of the season.

OILERS IN THE AHL

Manitoba Moose forward Ryan Olsen, who played in 3 games for Tulsa earlier this season, recorded his first multi-point game (1g, 1a) Sunday in a 5-4 loss to Toronto. Olsen has 8 points (5g, 3a) in 44 AHL games...Dan DeSalvo picked up another assist Thursday in a 4-3 loss to Charlotte, bringing his point total to 31 (14g, 17a) in 52 games...Goaltender Jamie Phillips stopped 16 of 17 shots in a relief appearance for Manitoba in a 4-1 loss Friday against Charlotte in two periods of action. Phillips is 1-2-0 with a 3.41 goals-against average and .896 save percentage in 5 AHL appearances.

OIL STREAKS

Forward Garrett Ladd has a point in back-to-back games (1g, 1a). The former Maverick has 10 points (6g, 4a) in 11 games against his old team...Adam Pleskach has recorded points in 3 of his last 4 games (2g, 1)...The Oilers did not have to make a goaltending change in-game at any point during the first 44 games of the season. Since January 22, Tulsa has done so 6 times in the last 18 games.

MORE DROPS

The Oilers are 8 points behind Kalamazoo for the 4th and final spot in the Central Division playoff race with 10 games to play...Tulsa's attendance is 3rd out of 27 ECHL teams (5,707 average) with three home games remaining at the BOK Center...The Oilers are 14-5-1 against division opponents, but 9-22-4 versus the Mountain Division...Tulsa is 3rd in the ECHL, averaging 34.52 shots per game, but 24th with 2.79 goals per game.
