Mallards Return Home for Three Games in Four Days, Jersey Auction Friday

MOLINE, Ill. - The Quad City Mallards will return to the iWireless Center for games Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, a homestand highlighted by a live auction of the special edition baseball-style jerseys the Mallards will wear Friday evening against the Missouri Mavericks.

After taking on the Kalamazoo Wings Wednesday night at the special early start time of 6:35 p.m., the Mallards will host the Mavericks not only on Friday evening but also on Saturday night. Both of those games will face off at 7:05 p.m.

The Mallards will don white baseball-style jerseys featuring blue pin stripes during Friday's meeting with Missouri. Those jerseys will go up for bid immediately after that game in a live auction presented by KWQC-TV6 to benefit the Genesis Health Services Foundation. The jerseys also sport the team's flying Mallard logo encircled by the letters "QC" on the left side of the chest, the Mallards' secondary duck foot logo in red on the shoulders and royal blue numbers trimmed in red. Pin-striped socks will complete the Mallards' unique look.

Friday's event is the Mallards' second game-worn jersey auction of the season. The twentieth season mash-up jerseys the Mallards wore against the Fort Wayne Komets on January 14 and auctioned off after that game raised nearly $18,000 for the Genesis Health Services Foundation. Over the last two decades, Mallards jersey auctions have raised over $800,000 to benefit Genesis Health System charities.

Friday also brings the return of $2 Dog/$2 Beer Night presented by 97X. Fans can enjoy $2 hot dogs and beers from iWireless Center concession stands during every Friday Mallards home game. In addition, the Mallards have once again this season partnered with Metro to provide transit service between Augustana College and downtown Moline during all Friday home games. As part of Metro's unlimited ride program, Augustana riders can use their Augustana ID as their fare.

Single game tickets for all Mallards regular season home games- including this week's games- are on sale now at the iWireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets, ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000 . The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
