Tri-City Storm vs. Lincoln Stars

Scouting Lincoln - The Stars (7-8-2) are riding momentum from their 3-2 comeback victory against the Des Moines Buccaneers last Saturday. Lincoln has relied on strong play from goalie Josef Korenar past the quarter mark of the season. Korenar has the best save percentage (.941) and fourth-best GAA (1.83) in the USHL. Offensively, the team has scored by committee as Henry Bowlby is the only player with points in double digits (10).

Scouting Tri-City - The Storm (7-6-3) jumped above .500 with a sweep against Youngstown last week. Tri-City is on a three-game road losing streak but has points in eight of its last 10 games. Alex Limoges leads the team with 18 points and is a part of the second-best power play in the USHL (21.5%). Dayton Rasmussen has gotten the majority of the starts in net with a 2.33 GAA and .917 save percentage.

Last Weekend - The Stars split a home-and-home series with the Des Moines Buccaneers, losing 3-0 on Friday before responding with a 3-2 comeback victory on Friday. Josef Korenar played both games. Mike Gillespie had three points.

TC: Alex Limoges - He's unquestionably the Storm's best player with a team-leading nine goals and nine assists. Limoges also leads in power play points (6). He had three points last weekend.

LIN: Mike Gillespie - The third-year forward scored his first goal in eight games last Saturday. He logged a goal and two assists during last Saturday's win. Gillespie leads the team in career points with 58 points in 96 games.
