
Tri-City Storm Join Vegas Strong Cause

Kearney, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm announced Monday that a portion of ticket sales to Friday's home opener will be donated to the "Las Vegas Victims' Fund" which benefits victims of the October 1st mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, the Storm will wear special "Las Vegas Storm" jerseys during Friday's game vs. Sioux City at the Viaero Center. Tickets
The Storm hold their annual preseason training camp at the Las Vegas Ice Center in Las Vegas, NV and it is the home town of owner Kirk Brooks.
"We felt that following the recent events in Las Vegas we wanted to join the effort to support those who were injured and lost their lives in this horrible tragedy. This tragedy has struck close to home considering the ties of the Tri-City Storm to Las Vegas. A portion of each ticket including season tickets to the game on Friday, October 13th will be donated to this worthy cause.
The one of a kind Las Vegas jerseys worn by the team will be auctioned off during the game in a silent auction process. Additionally special Vegas Strong t-shirts will be available for purchase during the game. All profits from the jersey auction and t-shirt sales will also be donated on behalf of the Storm and its fans.
