North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers squandered a 4-0 lead and fell 6-4 to the Frisco RoughRiders in 12 innings on Sunday evening at Dickey-Stephens Park, spoiling Alex Blackford's stellar Double-A debut for the Travs.

With the score tied 4-4 in the 12th and RoughRiders LF Ryan Cordell on second and CF Ryan Cordell on first, 1B Ronald Guzman lined a single to right to put Frisco up for the first time in the game. DH Joe Jackson then blooped an RBI single to right to increase the 'Riders lead. Jackson also tied the game at 4-4 in the eighth with a two-out RBI single.

Blackford tossed five scoreless innings for Arkansas. The righty, who was making his first start at the Double-A level, surrendered just two singles with a walk and six strikeouts.

RHP Austin Adams came on in relief of Blackford and allowed three runs on five hits in 1.1 innings, including a solo home run to Cordell, the first home run surrendered by Adams since 2014.

RHP Austin Wood and RHP Geoff Broussard combined for 3.2 scoreless innings of work out of the Travs 'pen.

RHP Tyler Brunnemann (L, 0-1), who was making his Angels organizational debut, took the loss after allowing the two runs in the 12th.

LHP Ryne Slack (W, 1-0) earned the win with 3.1 scoreless innings of relief.

Arkansas 2B Sherman Johnson, who pinch-hit in the ninth, smacked a two-out triple down the left field line in the 11th, but was stranded at third.

Bayardi finished 3-for-6 with the home run, double and three RBIs.

C Wade Wass and 3B Andrew Daniel both had multi-hit games for Arkansas.

Frisco leadoff man 3B Isaiah Kiner-Falefa finished 4-for-5 with a walk and an RBI.

The Travs went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position and are 3-for-20 to start the season.

With the loss, Arkansas dropped to 1-3 on the season. The Travs and Roughriders are scheduled to play the middle game of the three-game series on Monday at Dickey-Stephens Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
