Travs Postponed, Doubleheader Friday

North Little Rock - The Travs second game of their three-game series with the Corpus Christi Hooks on Thursday, Aug. 11, at Dickey-Stephens Park has been postponed due to storms in central Arkansas. The two teams will make up the game in a doubleheader on Friday, Aug. 12. Thursday's rainout marks the ninth postponement because of weather for the Travs this season. The Travs also had three games canceled in the Texas League first half against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
First pitch for the first game is scheduled for 4 p.m. and gates will open at 3 p.m. Midget Wrestling was going to be before the game, but will now be in between the two games of the doubleheader. There will be an hour between games.
Clunker Car Night was to be on Aug. 11, but will be postponed until Friday, Aug. 26, when the Travs play the Tulsa Drillers.
