Travs' Pitching Dominates Wichita

Wichita, KS - Logan Evans and a pair of relievers scattered five hits in a fantastic pitching performance leading the Arkansas Travelers to a 5-1 win over the Wichita Wind Surge on Saturday night. Evans earned the win working the first five innings with four strikeouts. Garrett Davila and Luis Curvelo then each worked two innings to close out the game. Alberto Rodriguez led the offense with three hits including a pair of doubles and two runs batted in while Harry Ford had two hits and a walk and drove in two.

Moments That Mattered

* Rodriguez blasted a two bagger to right-center in the third inning, plating a pair and putting the Travs lead at three.

* After Wichita had cut the lead to two, Harry Ford roped a two-run double to left-center giving the Travs a four-run advantage in the sixth inning.
