Travs Come up Just Short in Tulsa

Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Drillers edged the Arkansas Travelers, 5-4 on Friday night moving the Drillers back into first place in the division one game ahead of the Travs. Tulsa's Jose Ramos drove in three including a two-run home run in the third inning as the Drillers built an early lead and Arkansas was never able to fully close the gap. The Travs were one clutch hit away from a different outcome as they went 0-11 with runners in scoring position on the night.

Moments That Mattered

* Down three in the fifth, Arkansas loaded the bases with no one out and scored on a bases loaded walk and a sacrifice fly but left the tying and go-ahead runs in scoring position with a pair of strikeouts.

* Jonatan Clase pulled the Travs within one in the ninth on a leadoff homer and the Travs would get the tying and go-ahead runs on base with one out but the next two hitters were retired to end the game.
