GLENS FALLS, NY--Ryan Barnes scored with 16 seconds remaining to tie the score in regulation, while Shawn Collymore and Jamie Thompson both scored in the shootout as Danbury topped Adirondack 4-3 on Tuesday night at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

Danbury took a 1-0 lead as JM Daoust netted his 20th of the season from Barnes at the 17:17 mark of the opening period. Daoust backhanded his shot past Derek Gustafson after Barnes took the puck away from PJ Byrne behind the Frostbite net. However, Greg Koehler's power play goal 1:13 later tied the score at 1-1 by the end of the first.

Collymore scored his 10th of the season to give Danbury a 2-1 lead at the 13:05 mark with assists to Daoust and Troy Smith, but this time Hugo Belanger scored at the 19:34 mark to tie the game a second time.

Adirondack gained their first lead of the game at the 14:47 mark when Sly Cloutier knocked in a pass from Mike Berry right in front of the net to give the Frostbite a 3-2 lead. Barnes' goal tied the score with 16 seconds left as he scored on a 2 on 1.

Mike Berry was the lone scorer for the Frostbite in the shootout as Sly Daigle stopped the final four Frostbite shooters to help Danbury to their 30th win this season. Daigle stopped 23 of 26 in regulation while Gustafson save 27 of 30. The Trashers now have a 10 point lead over the Frostbite in the UHL East.
