Trans Canada Clash Has Arrived

Moose Jaw Warriors News Release


The rivalry between the Regina Pats and Moose Jaw Warriors is known as being one of the best rivalries in junior hockey and like last year's Trans-Canada Clash, this year is shaping up to be a game to remember! Some returning alumni include Theoren Fleury, Darryl LaPlante and Pat Beauschene of the Warriors and Dale Derkatch and Stu Grimson or the Regina Pats. Although the Alumni game is slated for Saturday February 9th at 1:30pm in Regina, alumni team practices will be conducted at the Moose Jaw Civic Centre tomorrow afternoon. All fans are welcome to watch the alumni practices at the Civic Centre as they will be open to the public.

*Players will be made available for interviews following their team practice

*Fans are encouraged to take to their seats early as a special pre-game ceremony will be held to kick off the Trans Canada Clash weekend

Later that evening Pats and Warriors current roster players will face off in Moose Jaw for the first game of their home & home. The Warriors currently sit 2 points behind the Division leading Pats. All those attending the WHL game are encouraged to take to their seats early as special pre-game presentations are slated to be held prior to puck drop to kick up the Trans Canada Clash weekend including the introduction of the Warriors Alumni roster & coaches.

Standing room tickets are available for purchase for the Friday February 8th game. Any individuals wishing to purchase tickets are encouraged to call the Warriors office at 694-5711, visit their downtown office at 422 Main St. or purchase standing room tickets online by clicking now!!!
