The Spokane Chiefs are the number one ranked team in the most recent edition of CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 Rankings. The Chiefs are one of four WHL teams ranked, three from the Western Conference. The Calgary Hitmen come in at two with Tri-City and Vancouver fifth and sixth, respectively. Spokane has been ranked for 14 consecutive weeks.
The Chiefs own the best record in the WHL at 39-10-1- 4 and 83 points. They have won seven of the last eight with the lone loss in the stretch coming in a shootout loss to Tri-City.
Spokane will play three games in three nights this weekend with a pair of games, Friday at home and Sunday on the road, versus Seattle. Tri-City will visit on Saturday night to begin a stretch of three straight weekends and five of the next six that the two will face off.
The Chiefs hold a two point advantage over the Americans for first place in the U.S. Division and a five point margin over the Vancouver Giants.
The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's Top 10 are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

Your ugly countertops could be worth $5,000. Precision Countertops and the Spokane Chiefs want to see how ugly your countertop is, and if it is the ugliest, then you win $5,000.
Friday night, Precision Countertops will have a display at the game to show fans exactly what they can do for your countertops.

Three candidates from the entries will be selected and the ugliest countertops will be voted on by fans at the Saturday, March 8th game. The winner will receive a $5,000 gift certificate to Precision Countertops.
