WINNIPEG, MB - The following is a list of happenings from Day 11 of the 2006 Winnipeg Blue Bombers training camp:
STARS OF THE DAY: RB Charles Roberts, RB Henri Childs, OL Matt Sheridan, DL Doug Brown and WR Quentin McCord, who made several outstanding catches.
NEW ARRIVALS: None.
DEPARTURES: None.
INJURIES: RB Onterrio Smith (foot, day-to-day), SB Jeff Schieman (quad, week), DB Robert Bean (hamstring, day-to-day), S Ian Logan (hamstring, day-to-day), OL Obby Khan (knee, day-to-day), OL Val St. Germain (groin, day-to-day), SB Jamie Stoddard (charley horse, day-to-day), WR Chad Rempel (hamstring, week), DL Cameron Legault (knee, day-to-day), S Shawn Gallant (knee, day-to-day).
TEAM NEWS: Today was the start of one-a-day practices for the team. Players will be on the field for practice tomorrow from 10:15 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m. The Blue Bombers open the exhibition season FRIDAY, JUNE 2 at 7 p.m. when they host the Montreal Alouettes at Canad Inns Stadium.
