The Alouettes invite their fans to celebrate the beginning of the new football season!
Montreal, May 27, 2002 - There are only six days left before the Alouettes kick-off their training camp in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Already, the preparation is underway. Equipment Manager Ronnie James and his team have already started to get everything ready for the players. They will be heading to the Fort Saint-Jean Campus tomorrow to start the set-up.
As for the coaches, they will be on the campus before the end of the week. The players have already started arriving in town and will undergo their medical exams on Saturday, June 1st, as of 8:30 a.m. at McGill University's Sports Complex located at 475 Pine Avenue West.
Training camp will officially open on Sunday, June 2nd, when the Alouettes invite all their fans to celebrate the beginning of the 2002 season.
Here's the schedule for June 2 on the Fort Saint-Jean Campus:
7 a.m. Warm-up
7:20 a.m. Beginning of the first practice
9 a.m. Guests arrive
9:15 a.m. End of the first practice
Animation, cheerleader routine
9:45 a.m. Beginning of the second practice
12 p.m. End of the second practice
12:10 p.m. Word of welcome
12:15 p.m. Player presentation
12:35 p.m. Autograph and photo session
All fans are welcome.
