Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive had no answer for the Asheville Tourists pitching on Friday night at Fluor Field, as six Asheville hurlers combined to shut down the Drive 6-0.

Using a bullpen-by-committee approach, the Tourists (6-3, 40-38) got Drasen Johnson into the fourth inning in a spot start. Alec Kenilvort (3-1) recorded the final two outs of the fourth and picked up the win for the second straight game.

Asheville struck for a pair of runs against Drive (3-5, 40-37) starter Anderson Espinoza (4-7). Chris Keck smacked a one-out solo homer in the second to put the Tourists ahead 1-0. It was the first homer allowed in Espinoza's professional career, which now spans 124 1/3 innings.

In the third, the lead went to 2-0 as Espinoza battled his control. He walked three in the frame, including a bases-loaded free pass to Sam Hilliard.

Hilliard added an RBI groundout against Austin Glorius in the fifth to make the score 3-0, and RBI hits from Mylz Jones and Brendan Rodgers in the sixth plated two more runs. Chris Rabago added a run-scoring single in the ninth for the final run of the night.

The Drive collected just three hits on the night, and Tyler Spoon extended his hitting streak to five games with a fourth-inning single.

Victor Diaz threw the final three innings for the Drive and allowed just one run while striking out four.

Saturday's game between the two teams at Fluor Field begins at 7:05 PM with a matchup of talented young arms, as Greenville right-hander Roniel Raudes (7-2, 3.86) squares off against Asheville right-hander Peter Lambert (3-5, 2.38).
