Tortugas Rained out Thursday

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Daytona Tortugas and Jupiter Hammerheads were postponed due to weather conditions Thursday night at Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Friday.

The single admission doubleheader will begin with game one at 5:05 PM. Each game will be seven innings in length, with game two coming 30 minutes after the completion of the opening game. Gates will open at 4 PM.

Friday night's twin bill will kick off Bob Ross Weekend at The Jack. The Tortugas will wear specialty jerseys with postgame fireworks following game two.

Looking towards Saturday, we continue Bob Ross Weekend with the Happy Little 5k beginning at 8 AM. Then a painting class prior to Saturday night's game at 5 PM with a bobblehead giveaway to the first 1,000 fans when gates open. On Sunday the first 500 fans will receive an interactive t-shirt with the chance to put their own spin on a Bob Ross painting.

Coverage Friday will begin with the Metcare Pregame Show at 4:50 PM on AM 1230, AM 1490, and FM 106.9 WSBB.
