Michael Beltre drew a walk to begin the sixth, moved to second on a wild pitch, third on a Morgan Lofstrom infield single, and scored when Randy Ventura grounded into a fielder's choice to cut the deficit in half, 2-1.
The Tarpons got the run back in the bottom half. Isiah Gilliam hit a triple off LHP Kevin Canelon to start the inning, then came into score on a wild pitch to run the lead to 3-1.
