The Torrington Titans (6-7) pounded the North Shore Navigators (4-9) on Wednesday 12-2 at Fraser Field.
An RBI double by Mike Odenwaelder and a three-run home run by Langston Coolhan helped the Torrington Titans score four runs in the first. The Torrington Titans had three hits in the inning.
Taylor Olmstead had two extra-base hits for the Torrington Titans. He doubled in the fourth innings and tripled in the ninth inning.
The North Shore Navigators had no answer for Alex Fishberg, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Fishberg held the North Shore Navigators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.
Mike Bonaiuto got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered seven hits.
Alex Valenti was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
The Torrington Titans pounded the North Shore Navigators pitching, as six hitters combined for 13 hits, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
