Jack St. Clair collected three hits as the Torrington Titans (7-7) took home a 7-2 victory over the Brockton Rox (10-2) at Campanelli Stadium on Thursday.
He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.
Mike McGee's seven strikeouts helped the Torrington Titans to the victory. McGee allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks over six innings.
Tom Stoffel got on base three times in the game for the Brockton Rox. He singled in the first and eighth innings.
Christian Campbell had an impressive outing against the Torrington Titans' lineup. Campbell held the Torrington Titans hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Jon Pusateri couldn't get it done on the mound for the Brockton Rox, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
