Torres-Costa Promoted in Cluster of Shuckers Moves

BILOXI, MS - In a move announced by the Milwaukee Brewers, LHP Quintin Torres-Costa has been promoted to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
A Southern League Mid-Season All-Star this year, Torres-Costa will report to the Sky Sox to make his debut at the Triple-A level. The lefty pitched to a 1.16 ERA in 21 relief appearances for the Shuckers, striking out 44 batters over 31 innings while holding opponents to a .160 batting average.
The Shuckers have also placed RHP Miguel Sanchez on the disabled list. In a pair of corresponding moves, LHP Brad Kuntz and RHP Josh Uhen have been activated from the temporarily inactive and disabled lists, respectively.
The Shuckers continue a six-game series against the Mobile BayBears on Friday night, a Fireworks Friday. First pitch is set for 6:35 PM CT. The game can be seen live on MiLB.TV and heard locally on Cruisin' WCGM 1240 AM/ FM 100.9 and online on TuneIn Radio or the MiLB First Pitch App.
