Lookouts Win to Even Series
June 29, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Lookouts used a full team effort last night with a 7-2 win over the Smokies. Pitching allowed seven scattered hits with just the two runs as Sean Poppen worked the first four innings followed by Ryan Eades Sam Clay and Tyler Jay. Eades would get the win in relief as the quartet struck out eight hitters. Offense provided another night of punch with a two hit night from Jaylin Davis, a "leave the park" home run again from Andy Wilkins and hits from all but two bats in the lineup. Defense regrouped without an error and brilliant play when needed in the clutch. Saturday LHP-Anthony Marzi (0-4,7.51) faces RHP-Keegan Thompson (0-1,24.00) for the Smokies. Air time on REAL 96.1 and at MiLB.com wil be 6:45 EDT.
