
Toros Host Idaho Stampede Wednesday at Concordia University

Austin, Texas (April 13, 2009) The fourth seeded Austin Toros will face fifth seeded Idaho Stampede in a re-match of the 2008 NBA D-League Finals this Wednesday, April 15th at 7:30p.m. at Concordia University Texas Fieldhouse, 11400 Concordia University Drive.
The Toros (32-18) have been in a tight race with the Stampede (31-19) for the fourth seed position. The Toros clinched home court advantage with a 120-106 road victory over the Rio Grand Valley Vipers last Saturday night. The Toros are 0-2 against the Stampede this season and fell 1-2 to the Stampede during the best of three 2008 D-League Finals.
"We're looking forward to this tough match-up against a great team in Idaho," Peter Lubell, Toros Chief Operating Officer. "Playing the game at a great venue like the Concordia University Fieldhouse will add to the exciting atmosphere of playoff basketball as well as expose our brand to other communities around Austin."
Call the Toros office today for $5 general admission tickets while supplies last. Tickets will be $6 at the Concordia Fieldhouse door on Wednesday. Toros fans are encouraged to wear black to support their home team.
