Playoffs Begin Wednesday
The Flash is host to the Bakersfield Jam in the first round of the 2009 NBA Development League Playoffs Wednesday at the McKay Events Center. Tipoff is 7 p.m. MDT.
Free Bajio for a Year
Five lucky Flash fans will have the opportunity to win free food for a year from Bajio Mexican Grille at Wednesday's first round playoff game. Five fans, selected at random, will have the chance to make a basket from half court and win BAJIO FOR A YEAR!
Free Playoff Dogs
The first 500 fans at Wednesday's playoff game between the Flash and Bakersfield will receive a free hot dog. The hot dogs will be available at the concession stand on the north concourse.
Coach Jones Locked On Sports
Flash head coach Brad Jones will join host David Locke on KFAN 1320's Locked on Sports at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to talk about the Flash and the upcoming NBA D-League Playoffs. Be sure to tune in to see what the coach has to say.
How the West Was Won
The Flash came into last Friday needing to beat Colorado in the resumption of a suspended game from Dec. 26, then to beat the league-leading 14ers in the regularly scheduled game and then defeat rival Idaho on Saturday. Tall order. Mission accomplished. Utah won all three, finished the regular season with a 32-18 record, the NBADL West Division title and the second seed in the postseason.
