Matt Frattin scored his first goal of the year to open the scoring for the Marlies. Frattin led the Marlies in goals last season with 26.

Kasperi Kapanen scored his first goal of the season and his first goal as a Marlie.

William Nylander collected an assist pushing his point total to five through four games this season.

T.J. Brennan recorded an assist this afternoon, he now has four points on the season. Brennan has collected points in the last three Marlies contests.

NOTABLES

Toronto was unable to convert on the power play in six opportunities. The Marlies were 4/5 on the penalty kill.

The Marlies were held to 28 shots, the first time this season they did not surpass the 30 shot mark.

Casey Bailey dressed for his first game in a Marlie uniform, he was held pointless.
