
Toronto FC Clinches Spot in Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs

With tonight's 1-1 draw against Los Angeles FC along with Chicago's draw and Montreal's loss, Toronto FC has officially clinched a spot in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs. This marks the club's fourth playoff appearance in the past five seasons.
Toronto FC currently sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 12-10-10 and 46 points. The Reds have two matches remaining in the regular season. TFC will travel to Chicago to play the Fire on Sunday, September 29 and close the regular season at BMO Field on Sunday, October 6 against Columbus Crew SC.
The Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs will debut a new format this season and will begin with round one on Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20.
