
Toronto Drops Hershey 2-1

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies defeated the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, by a score of 2-1 this afternoon at Ricoh Coliseum.
Marlies forward Andrew Crescenzi opened the scoring at 4:20 of the first period. The goal marked Crescenzi's first in the American Hockey league. Hershey would tie the game early in the middle frame on a powerplay goal from Casey Wellman. Toronto would regain the lead before the end of the period on Tim Connolly's fourth goal of the year. Connolly's tally proved to be the eventual game winning goal.
Toronto returns to the ice on Monday afternoon when they host the Houston Aeros, AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild. Puck drop is set for 1 p.m. Limited tickets are still available and can be purchased by calling the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK (7825).
