Rockford, Ill.- Heading into tonight's game with a two game losing streak, the Rockford IceHogs (22-25-1-1) and Abbotsford Heat (26-18-3-4) both look to break out of their slumps as they face off at the BMO Harris Bank Center at 7:05 p.m.

The matchup is the second of four between the two clubs and final at the BMO Harris Bank Center. The two teams will meet again when the IceHogs travel to Abbotsford for back-to-back contests with the Heat beginning on March 22.

The first 2,500 adults (21 and over) through the turnstiles tonight will receive an IceHogs floppy hat courtesy of Bud Light.

The IceHogs hold the upper hand against the Heat, taking the first game in the season series 3-2 back on Dec. 22 to push the Hogs all-time record to 9-4-0-1 against the Heat. Abbotsford scored the first two goals of the game in the first period back on Dec. 22 but the IceHogs roared back with goals from Ben Smith, Nick Leddy and Brandon Pirri to earn the win.

Winger Jimmy Hayes has stayed hot for the IceHogs despite the teams' recent struggles. Hayes registered his 10th multi-point effort of the season with a goal and assist in Wednesday's loss to Peoria. Over his last 13 contests, Hayes has notched 13 points (10g-3a), including six power-play markers.

Next Home Game: Sunday, Feb. 17 vs. Lake Erie Monsters. Puck drop is set for 5:05 p.m. The first 1,000 kids (14 and under) into the building will get a Hammy toothbrush holder bobblehead compliments of Riverside Dental. Bring your ice skates to the game as it's the last "Skate with the Hogs" of the season. Fans will be invited onto the BMO Harris Bank Center ice following the game to skate with the team.
