Worcester, MA -- The game between the Worcester Tornadoes and Brockton Rox scheduled for Friday night, August 15, has been postponed due to inclement weather.
The game will be made up on Saturday, August 16 at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton as part of a doubleheader, with Game One scheduled for 5:05pm. Game Two will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game One. Both games will be seven-inning affairs. The rainout is the league-high seventh of the season for Worcester. The Tornadoes have also had three games suspended due to rain. Worcester is 8-4 in doubleheader games in 2008. The Tornadoes will start RHP Shaun McNamara and LHP Tom Cochran in Saturday's twinbill, with the Rox countering with RHP Rony Mercado and RHP Mike Smith.
