Brockton Rox News Release
The Brockton Rox are back in town tonight for a brief weekend series against the Worcester Tornadoes. Join the Rox at Campanelli Stadium for a tribute to Woodstock all weekend long as the Rox will be sporting special uniforms to commemorate the occasion throughout the series. Oldies 103.3 will kick off the weekend presenting tonight's game. After the game the sky will light up with our famous Friday Night Fireworks display. And it's boy scout sleepover night, so once the last firework has popped, we'll invite all boy scouts and troop leaders down to the field to set up their tents, enjoy a movie on the video board and then camp out under the stars.Gates open Friday at 6:00 PM and the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
August 16th will host a Saturday Night Post-game Concert Series presented by Network Health! In honor of Woodstock weekend, we'll have the Psychedelic Relics on hand to play your favorite music from the 60's and 70's following the game, weather permitting. Gates open at 5:00 PM and the first pitch is scheduled for 6:05 PM.
The Rox close out the weekend series against the Tornadoes on Sunday, August 17th, presented by your friends at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. It's Rox Family Funday which means catch on the field when gates open at 4:00 PM, post-game run the bases and get autographs from the whole team. The custom Woodstock jerseys that the Rox are sporting all weekend long will also be up for auction today. Gates open at 4:00 PM with the first pitch scheduled for 5:05 PM.
