He has not won since August 5th at Pittsfield and hasn't won a home start since July 20th against New Jersey. Kelly's best stretch of the season came form July 8th to August 5th, where he went 5-0 in six starts with a 1.64 ERA. His best start came back on June 11th against Pittsfield, picking up his first win of the season by throwing six and two-thirds innings and surrendering just one earned run while striking out eight. He has faced Sussex three times this season, going 1-1 with a 3.21 ERA. His win came on July 26th, picking up the win at Sussex with five innings of work and one earned run allowed. Worcester got a 1-0 lead after two innings when Rick Asadoorian, starting as a hitter for the first time since June 29th, scored on an Alex Trezza RBI ground out. Brockton would then take a 3-1 lead with a run in the third thanks to a Shawn Williams RBI single and two runs in the fourth from RBI singles by Mike Conroy and Chris Valencia. Alex Trezza would then knock in his second run of the game, getting an RBI double in the bottom of the fourth to score Lester Contreras and put the Tornadoes down by just one. In the bottom of the fifth, Nick Salotti's solo homer would tie the game at three and the teams would stay deadlocked until the bottom of the ninth. After a Ryan Crespi flyout and Boomer Blanchard single, Minicozzi hit his walk-off homer off of Jimmer Kennedy.
