Rancho Cucamonga Quakes News Release
Another home stand opens tonight and your Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are still in first place. Over the next eight days, the Quakes will enjoy seven home games, as we open the home stand tonight, by welcoming the Oakland Athletics' Cal League affiliate to The Epicenter, the Stockton Ports. Love the Angels? Love FREE stuff? Better plan on joining us at The Epicenter this weekend. Here's a look at what's on tap over the weekend:
Friday, August 13th - The home stand opens with a buzz, as the first 1,500 fans will receive a Torii Hunter Bobblehead Doll, thanks to All-Star KIA and KFROG 95.1 . Torii appeared for the Quakes back in 2009, as part of a three-game rehab here at The Epicenter. Now we honor the former Quake with his own Bobblehead Doll, all courtesy of All-Star KIA . Gates open at 6:05pm and game time is 7:05pm. Get here early, as they're sure to go quickly!
Saturday, August 14th - Saturday will be an exciting night, with Angels Appreciation Night at The Epicenter. Quakes' players will be wearing throw-back Angels jerseys with a special Quakes flair to them. The jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the game and will be presented to the winning fans immediately after the game in a special on-field presentation. The proceeds will benefit the Steven's Hope for Kids charity . Angels Appreciation Day will be capped with an incredible P ost-Game Fireworks Display, thanks to KOLA 99.9 . Game time is 7:05pm and gates open at 6:05pm.
Sunday, August 15th - The final game of the Stockton series concludes with Team Photo Giveaway, as the first 1,500 fans in attendance will get a 2010 Quakes Team Photo, thanks to Radio Disney . After the game, kids will get to "Run the Bases", all thanks to our friends at My Gym . Game time in the series-finale is 5:05pm and gates open at 4:05pm. Don't forget that after a day off on Monday, the Quakes open an important four-game series with the second-place High Desert Mavericks, right here at The Epicenter. Great seats are still available for all remaining regular season games at The Epicenter, by calling (909) 481-5000 or online at rcquakes.com. Go Quakes!
