Albuquerque Isotopes News Release
In celebration of more than 3-million fans passing through the turnstiles at Isotopes Park since its opening in 2003, the Albuquerque Isotopes will hold a "Salute to 3-Million Fans" on Thursday, May 15 when the team kicks off a four-game series with the Omaha Royals, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, at 6:35 PM.
Rather than singling out one fan when they pass through the gates, the Isotopes will give every fan present at Thursday's game a chance to win two round-trip tickets on Express Jet as well as myriad other prizes through a series of random drawings. Each fan that comes to the game will be automatically entered into the drawing, with prizes escalating throughout the game until the grand prize of two free tickets on Express Jet is awarded after the seventh inning.
"Reaching the 3-million fan milestone in just over five years is an amazing feat and testament to the incredible support the team has received from the great fans in Albuquerque since day one," said Isotopes General Manager John Traub. "We feel truly fortunate to have such a great fan base and are excited for this opportunity to say thanks."
The Salute to 3-Million Fans kicks off an action-packed eight-game homestand that will feature Isotopes hats to the first 3,000 fans on Friday courtesy of First Community Bank. On Saturday, May 17 the âTopes will host Military Appreciation Night complete with a Post-Game Fireworks extravaganza. Tickets can be purchased at Isotopes Park or any Ticketmaster outlet, www.ticketmaster.com, or Ticketmaster by phone 505-883-7800. For more information on individual game tickets, season tickets, or mini-plans, visit www.albuquerquebaseball.com or call 505-924-2255.
