LAST GAME:

The RedHawks snapped a five game losing streak with a 7-6 win over the Grizzlies. Wes Littleton (2-0) pitched two perfect innings in relief of spot starter Steve Rowe to earn the win for Oklahoma, Kaz Fukumori picked up a hold despite allowing three runs, and Warner Madrigal notched his first Triple-A save. Fresno starter Brooks McNiven (0-2) took the loss after allowing five runs over four innings on seven hits. John Mayberry, Drew Meyer, and Marlon Byrd drove in two runs each for Oklahoma in the victory. The RedHawks picked up their first win since last Tuesday's homestand opener.

TAKING THE LEAD:

In Monday's win, the RedHawks took the lead in a contest for the first time since the fourth inning of game one of Thursday's doubleheader. John Mayberry hit a two-run home run to give Oklahoma a 4-3 lead on Thursday. The one run advantage was short-lived however, as Sacramento's Casey Rogowski hit a solo home run to lead off the fifth inning and tie the score at four. The RedHawks played 41.2 consecutive innings where they trailed or the scored was tied in between the lead Thursday and taking a 4-3 advantage in the third yesterday.

FIRST INNING DROUGHT:

The RedHawks failed to score in the first inning for the eighth consecutive game. The first had been Oklahoma's best inning offensively this season despite the recent troubles. The RedHawks have compiled 31 first inning runs this season through 39 games. With two runs in the sixth inning in Monday's win, Oklahoma has now scored 32 times in the sixth, making that their best frame this year. The RedHawks have scored in the first 14 times in 39 games (36%) and have plated runs during the sixth inning in 17 games (44%) this season.

MATHIS DEBUTS WITH WIN:

Former RedHawk Doug Mathis made his Major League debut, picking up the victory in the Rangers 13-12, extra-inning win over Seattle. Mathis pitched the top of the tenth inning and faced three batters, getting a ground out, a line out, and a pop out.

FRESNO AT A GLANCE:

The Grizzlies have benefitted from two scoring changes over the last two games. Brett Harper was credited with another base hit in Sunday's game, a single that was originally charged as an error to Ryan Roberts. Eli Whiteside was given credit with a single and a run batted in on a play where an error was originally given to Drew Meyer in the eighth inning yesterday.

AROUND THE ORGANIZATION:

Texas beat Seattle 13-12 in 10 innings... Frisco fell at Midland 4-1... Bakersfield bested High Desert 4-1... Clinton hung on to beat Beloit 6-5.

DOT-DOT-DOT:

Dustin Nippert is making his third rehab start in the RedHawks rotation. The right-hander is on the Rangers 15-day disabled list while recovering from a sore foot... The RedHawks pitching staff struck out at least nine batters for the third straight game.... Oklahoma pitchers didn't walk any batters for the fifth time this season.

TIME CHANGE:

The RedHawks have announced one time change that differs from the pocket schedules. Oklahoma's game on June 1 with Omaha is now slated for a 2:05 pm first pitch.

Every game this season can be heard on the RedHawks Radio Network, led by broadcaster Jim Byers for the ninth season, and joined by Adam Marco during each homestand.
