'Topes Attendance Soaring in 2008

Through May 31, Albuquerque had 28 home dates with 206,465 fans having passed through the turnstiles for an average of 7,374 fans per game. At the same point last year, 167,642 fans had attended Isotopes games through just 23 home dates for an average of 7,289.
The Isotopes' 2008 average ranks the team sixth in average attendance in all of Minor League Baseball out of 136 teams. The âTopes also have the fourth best average attendance in the Pacific Coast League and the fifth best in Triple-A Baseball, trailing only Round Rock, Sacramento, Louisville, and Memphis.
Earlier this season, the Isotopes paid tribute to 3-million fans and to date have welcomed 3,110,582 guests since Isotopes Park opened its doors in 2003.
