OMAHA, NE - Mark Schultz will be performing live in concert at the Omaha Royals annual Faith and Family Night. Schultz, a platinum-selling Christian recording artist who was nominated this year for a Dove Award as Male Vocalist of the Year, will be in concert at Rosenblatt Stadium after the game on Saturday, August 2nd, when the Royals host the Salt Lake Bees at 7:05 p.m.

Christian artist Jared Bayless of Omaha will be performing in concert at 5:30 p.m. on August 2nd. Schultz' concert will start immediately following the game. Faith and Family Night is presented by Hy-Vee, Roberts Dairy and KGBI 100.7 FM.

Tickets for the game and the Christian concerts remain the same price as tickets for most of the Royals regular season home games: $10 for Field Box seats, $8 for Reserved seats and $6 for General Admission. Groups of 20 or more receive a discount on tickets.

Schultz' hit, "Back in His Arms Again" was named BMI's Christian Song of the Year in 2003. "I Am the Way" was cited as the Christian Song of the Year by American Songwriter magazine in 2001. Schultz has had seven chart-topping songs to his credit and has also found success on mainstream radio, scoring an AC hit with "He's My Son." Schultz grew up in Colby, Kansas and graduated from Kansas State University, before moving to Nashville in 1994. His first record was released in 2000.

"We're extremely pleased about this year's Faith and Family Night, as this is by far the most popular artist we've had perform at this event," said Royals Assistant G.M./Ticket Operations, Eric Leach. "Mark Schultz is known throughout the world and it will be great to have him at Rosenblatt Stadium."
