The Warthog (1-1) and Hillcats (2-3) conclude their three-game series tonight at Ernie Shore Field with the first pitch scheduled for 7 PM. It is the first Thirsty Thursday of the 2008 season at the historic ballpark. Chicago White Sox 2007 first round pick (25th overall) and top prospect LHP Aaron Poreda (0-0, 0.00) will make his home debut for the Warthogs. Lynchburg will send fellow southpaw Tony Watson (0-1, 4.91) to the hill.
