*Back To Back Bugs:* The Tulsa Oilers conclude a seven game homestand tonight while starting a two game set with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs.
*Records: *Oilers are 6-12-1 with 13 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division.
Bossier-Shreveport is 11-7-3 for 25 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division.
*Season Series: *This is the third meeting of the season between the two teams and Bossier-Shreveport has shutout the Oilers in both previous contests, 1-0 at Bossier-Shreveport on November 8^th and 3-0 in Tulsa on December 1^st . The Oilers scoreless streak against Bossier-Shreveport stands at 121:05 dating back to March 23^rd last season when David Alexandre Beauregard scored against Ken Carroll.
*Recent Action: *The Oilers are coming off an 8-4 setback to the Mississippi RiverKings last night. Bossier-Shreveport comes into tonight's game on the heels of shutting out Colorado, 3-0 last night.
*Grand Event: *Tonight marks the 1,00^th regular season game for the Oilers since the rebirth of the Central Hockey League in the 1992-93 season. The Oilers all time regular season record is 478-430-91.
*Bear Necessities: *Tonight is also the Oilers annual Teddy Bear toss to benefit the Salvation Army. Fans who have brought Teddy Bears to the game will throw them on the ice after The Oilers first goal. The bears will be collected and donated to the Salvation Army for distribution this holiday season.

*Blankety Blank:* While the Oilers have suffered two shutouts at the hands of the Mudbugs, they are hardly alone. Bossier-Shreveport has registered five shutouts in its 21 games.
