Tonight's Bulls Game to be Broadcast in Japan

DURHAM, NC - Tonight's Durham Bulls and Pawtucket Red Sox game will be broadcast in Japan via J SPORTS, a major Japanese sports network. Hideki Matsui, who made his Durham Bulls debut on Tuesday, will face off against countryman Daisuke Matsuzaka as the Red Sox pitcher makes a rehab start at the DBAP tonight. It will be the first Durham Bulls game ever to be broadcasted internationally.

J SPORTS, a major Japanese production and broadcasting entity that specializes in overseas sports programming, consists of four sports satellite channels. They broadcast over 400 Major League Baseball games a year and reach 7.6 million viewers.

A capacity crowd is expected for tonight's marquee matchup, though tickets are still available. Locally, the game will be televised on Time Warner Cable HD Channel 1151, SD Channel 151, and over-the-air on Channel 50.2.
