Brandon, MB - Tonight is the Annual Awards Night at Westman Communications Group Place as the Brandon Wheat Kings bring the curtain down on their 2015-16 Western Hockey League regular season against the visiting Regina Pats.

The Wheat Kings, fresh off Friday's 6-2 win over Moose Jaw, will be hoping to run their season ending win streak to nine games as they prepare for the start of the WHL playoffs, set to begin this Thursday and Friday against either Edmonton or Medicine Hat.

For the seventh consecutive season, the Wheat Kings annual awards will be handed out on this night - before, during and immediately following the game.

In addition, there will be a special presentation made to Brandon's graduating 20-year olds - center Tim McGauley and defencemen Mitch Wheaton and Macoy Erkamps. Saturday's game will mark the end of their major junior careers. Entering the final game of their WHL careers, McGauley has scored 102 goals and 259 games in 274 career games, Wheaton has nine goals and 59 points in 169 while Erkamps has thirty goals and 188 points in 340 career WHL games.
