The Johnstown Tomahawks defeated the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks by a final score of 5-0. Friday night's victory was Johnstown's seventh straight.

Justin Rapp opened the scoring for Johnstown 3:16 into the game, followed by a goal 1:19 later coming from Johnny Ulicny, who netted his ninth of the season. Top Prospects select Anthony Galante later scored his 18th of the season at the 11:11 mark of the opening period on the power play, giving Johnstown a 3-0 lead after the first 20.

After a scoreless second period, Ethan Perrault lit the lamp for Johnstown late in the third period with 6:53 remaining, giving the Tomahawks a 4-0 lead. Ryan Panico extended the lead to five for Johnstown as Alec Rajalin-Scharp secured himself his fourth shutout of the season, making 21 saves.

The Tomahawks and Hat Tricks face off again tomorrow in a Sunday afternoon matinee at 1ST SUMMIT ARENA. Tickets for the 2 PM game can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com.
